Edgar Cayce was psychic who was born in Christian County in 1877, and later became known as the known as the Sleeping Prophet and the Father of Holistic Medicine. To shed light on his legacy and work, the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County is inviting the community to weekend-long celebration.
The museums is hosting the Edgard Cayce Hometown Seminar in downtown Hopkinsville from March 20 to March 22 and there will be a variety of activities spotlighting Cayce. Published author and professor Adam Stokes will be the keynote speaker, and he will discuss Cayce’s traditions through an academic lens. Then, Professional Astrologer Mallory Key will talk about astral influences and how they impact people.
Over the weekend, multiple learning sessions will be hosted featuring activities sharing Cayce’s work and his connection to Christian County. Those interested in attending the learning sessions must register, and the full weekend of activities costs $100 and $90 for museum members. Registration is available at museumsofhopkinsville.org.
