If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to be psychic, you’ll have a chance to learn from a first-hand account, as a local psychic has penned a novel detailing her life with what could either be considered a gift or a curse.
Donna Hayes, also known as Donna Schofield, grew up in Hopkinsville and knew she was different from the age of five, when her life as a psychic began. Her book, “My Life as a Psychic Medium: Walking in Two Worlds” is an account of her life learning to manage her abilities, her assistance to law enforcement around the world and her drive to help others.
One such case was while Hayes was living in Germany, when she helped federal police locate the body of a missing woman, which helped solve that murder case.
Part of her abilities as deal with health—she says she is able to look at an individual and see what’s wrong and if they should see a doctor. One such time included when she saw a man was about to have an emergency, and then he had a heart attack on his way to the hospital.
She says she’s very used to skepticism, but she has the track record to prove herself.
One thing she says is that for those who think they would like to be psychic; she disagrees—she has often wished to not have her abilities, but she’s made the best of them.
You can meet with Hayes and get a signed copy of her book at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library on July 20 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and copies are also available on Amazon.
