Local YMCA ready to help with New Year goals

The Hopkinsville Family YMCA is looking forward to a new year, and they’re encourage folks to go ahead and get started on those New Year’s resolutions.

Kristen Lilly with the YMCA appeared on WHOP recently and says now is the best time to get those new healthy habits established, especially after the holidays, and you can even gift a membership to someone to get them off to a strong start.

School is out until January 6, but Lilly reminds that their Teen Center and tutoring services will be back at that time as well, providing a safe place for local teens to hang out.

The YMCA is also looking to fill some positions in the new year, and those career options can be found on their website.

You can easily keep up with what the Hopkinsville YMCA has planned in the way of programming, tutoring, workout classes and even more via their Facebook page or at hopkinsvilleymca.org.
