A main line break in Herndon in south Christian County Thursday morning has resulted in some loss of water and a boil water advisory.
According to the Christian County Water District, repairs were being performed on a main line break in Herndon, and after isolating with valves to repair the leak, they issued a boil water advisory was a precaution for water district customers.
Those impacted include the addresses of 9705 to 176888 Lafayette Road, from 7750 to 11750 Gracey-Herndon Road, from 11951 to 17961 Herndon-Oak Grove Road, 2209 to 4065 Millers Mill, 351 to 1168 Binns Mill, from 295 to 671 Flat Lick Lane, 11157 to 11711 Lonnie Walker Highway, 9795 to 9899 Cox Mill Road and from 5060 to 6465 Striped Bridge Road.
It also includes all customers on Mason Mill Road, Swift Ford Road, Bennettstown Street, Roeder Road, Newton Lane, Bullard Road, Bell Station Road, Fleming Giles Road, Darnell Road, Boddie Road, Lovelady Lane, Fentress Lane, Wayne Hunt Road and Taylor Road.
Additionally, that includes all customers on Palmyra Road and Beverly South Road.
This boil water advisory is in place until further notice. Water should be boiled for three minutes and allowed to cool before consumption.
