A man was injured after a tree fell on a home in the 800 block of East 12th Street during Thursday evening’s thunderstorms and high winds.
Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers says the man was in the second-story of the house when the tree fell and trapped him underneath. His family was able to extricate him by the time first responders arrived.
The man was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for suspected broken bones.
