A Bowling Green man was killed in a crash in Warren County Tuesday on Interstate 65.
According to Kentucky State Police, the collision happened on I-65 in Smiths Grove near the 38-mile-marker around 9 p.m. Preliminary investigation determined that a vehicle operated by 36-year-old Anthony Hodge of Bowling Green was heading northbound on I-65 when he hydroplaned in standing water from heavy rain.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck a median, where it came to a stop and was then struck by a semi-truck operated by 64-year-old Alexander Kipnis or Oklahoma.
Hodge was pronounced deceased at the scene.
