WNKJ Missionary Radio has kicked off their Spring Friend Raiser with the goal of raising funds to be able to continue providing Christian ministry and music broadcasts for the region.
Missionary Radio is the broadcast ministry of the Pennyrile Christian Community, Inc. and is 100% listener funded. Missionary Radio’s coverage region consists of Hopkinsville, Madisonville, Fort Campbell, Clarksville, Madisonville, Hardin, Providence and Murray.
Missionary Radio General Manager, Ken Cummins shared that their fundraising broadcast kicked off on Tuesday at 6 a.m. and will run until 5 p.m. Wednesday’s broadcast will follow the same schedule and on Thursday the fundraiser will conclude during the radio’s morning show.
Along with raising funds to support Missionary Radio, Cummins says the Friend Raiser also serves to spotlight the station’s mission and connect them to new listeners and donation partners.
Cummins shared that those interested in donating can do so at missionary.radio/give or by visiting them at their station located at 1800 East 18th Street in Hopkinsville.
The Friend Raiser broadcast is being live streamed on the radio’s Facebook at Missionary Radio.
