Monday is the start of National Library Week and the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library is ready to celebrate.
According to a news release, April 7 through April 13 is National Library Week and the local public library is encouraging everyone in the community to visit the library to explore all the it has to offer. The local library offers a wide array of programs, classes and resources, such as storytimes, crafting classes, lectures, book clubs, movie nights and community events.
First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries of all types across the country each April.
