Motorcyclist flown following Fort Campbell Boulevard collision

A motorcyclist was badly injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and the Pennyrile Parkway on ramp Wednesday afternoon.

The Hopkinsville Police Department report states that a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Michael Leek of Trenton was attempting to make a left turn onto the Parkway around 5:40 p.m. when his vehicle and a motorcycle collided.  Leek reportedly told officers he did not see the motorcycle before the crash occurred.

The operator of the motorcycle, 25-year-old Donald Weber Guedea of Hopkinsville, was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and from there flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of serious injuries. A passenger on the motorcycle was not transported.

Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt or a helmet.
