MSU teams up with Madisonville CC for Electromechanical Engineering Program

Murray State University is teaming up with Madisonville Community College for a transfer agreement in the Electromechanical Engineering Technology program.

According to a news release, this agreement will provide students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science in Advanced Integrated Technology degree at MCC a seamless transfer process into Murray State’s Bachelor of Science in Electromechanical Engineering Technology degree program. The program will be offered at Murray State University’s Madisonville Regional Campus beginning with the upcoming fall 2024 semester.

The agreement will allow graduates of the Associate of Applied Science in AIT to complete years three and four of the Murray State EMT degree in Madisonville’s flexible laboratory and will set students up for high wage careers.

Murray State President Dr. Bob Jackson says, “We are extremely excited to partner with Madisonville Community College on new programs and initiatives as we support our students and advance our local, regional and state workforce and economic development initiatives. Our School of Engineering is doing great things and this new partnership is another example of how we are preparing our students for successful careers and a bright future.”
