Tyron Holt and Omega Plaisime appeared in Christian Circuit Court on Wednesday where their cases were continued to allow for trial preparations.
Holt and Plaisime are charged with complicity to murder in connection to the 2022 shooting death of 18-year-old Gailon Toler.
Holt appeared in court last week for a pretrial conference where his defense attorney Jarrod Jackson requested a bond reduction for Holt and claimed he was not the gunman. However, on Wednesday, Commonwealth’s Attorney, Maureen Leamy shared that based on the evidence it is unclear who was the actual gunman which led to Circuit Court Judge Andrew Self denying the bond modification.
Plaisime appeared with defense attorney, James Greene who says he received video discovery on Wednesday morning and needs time to go through it.
Holt and Plaisime will reappear in court on February 28.
