One charged with drug trafficking

An investigation at the Pilot Travel Center in Oak Grove by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department led to the arrest of a Kansas man.

According to a news release, deputies spotted a vehicle that had a license plate that provided no vehicle information as was listed as “removed” in the system. When they went to investigate further, contact was made with the driver, 64-year-old James Reber of Leavenworth, Kansas, and a search of his person revealed a Ziplock style bag containing approximately six grams of crystal methamphetamine.

Reber was charged with trafficking in meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper registration plate.
