Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal crash in Allen County that killed a juvenile.
According to a news release, troopers responded to the 3900 block of Old Hartsville Road in Allen County around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night for reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Preliminary investigation determined that a Scottsville minor was operating a vehicle on Old Hartsville when they lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason. The vehicle ran off the roadway, overturned and then struck a tree.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
