A person was killed in a fiery, single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Barkers Mill Road and Carter Road Sunday afternoon.
According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department, the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection and fire units were called to the scene due to the vehicle starting to catch fire. The sole occupant—believed at this time to be an adult male—was unable to be removed from the vehicle.
They were pronounced deceased as the scene. The names of those involved have not yet been released.
The Oak Grove Fire Department, Christian County Rescue Squad and Oak Grove Police Department assisted at the scene.
