A Bowling Green woman was killed and several others were injured in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 68-KY 80 near Fairview Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred in the area of 68-80 near Vaughns Grove-Litte River Road just before 5 p.m. and with at least one occupant ejected. One victim, 21-year-old Laqway Matthews of Bowling Green, was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where she would die of her injuries.
Two children, an eight-year-old and a three-year-old, were taken by helicopter to Vanderbilt Pediatrics in Nashville for treatment of injuries.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
