Paving working on Lafayette Road in Hopkinsville is set to begin next week.
Work will begin Tuesday at the intersections of U.S. 68 Business and KY 107 at the 15.7-mile point and then progress northward to East 18th Street, where KY 107 splits into a pair of one-way roads, South Main Street and South Virginia Street. Milling and paving operations will continue to follow the northbound section of the highway to East 9th Street.
When the northbound segment of KY 107 is completed, work will move to the southbound one-way section along South Main Street, progressing southbound to East 18th Street.
The project is expected to take around three weeks to complete. On street parking along these routes will be briefly prohibited in various locations during milling and paving.
