A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to begin installing signage today for the first phase of a three-phase paving projects that will take place in Trigg County beginning next week. The project represents an investment of $803,631 by Team Kentucky.
According to a news release, crews will install signs on KY 128, or Wallonia Road, between Stewart Road and KY 1507 a distance of roughly three miles. Milling and paving is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 7 and last about a week.
Motorists should expect lane restrictions with flaggers.
The project will also include the paving of Rockcastle Road between U.S. 68X and Beach Bend Road and KY 1253 between H.C. Futrell Road and McAtee Road. Dates for those phases will be announced as work proceeds.
