The Clarksville Police Department is investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and died Wednesday night on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville.
According to a news release, it happened at approximately 7 p.m. on Fort Campbell Boulevard at Concord Drive when a female victim was struck by a vehicle. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene—she has not yet been identified.
The southbound lanes of the Boulevard were shut down for some time as crash scene investigators went over the scene.
The investigation continues.
