After leading law enforcement on a pursuit that ended in a wreck on Wednesday, Hopkinsville Police arrested 19-year-old Noah Curran of Fort Campbell.
According to a report, three motorcyclists were witnessed traveling at excessive speeds, approximately 90 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. A police officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard, but the motorcyclists reportedly fled south down the boulevard.
Eventually, two of the motorcyclists yielded to officers, but Curran reportedly continued to flee. Curran fled onto the Interstate 24 westbound on ramp and exited toward Gracey, reportedly reaching speeds of 155 MPH in a 70 MPH zone.
While fleeing toward a Gracey residential area, Curran reportedly wrecked and hit a mailbox. Curran was medically cleared at Jennie Stuart Medical Center before he was lodged at the Christian County Jail.
Curran is charged with speeding, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police and second-degree criminal mischief.
