Hopkinsville Police arrested 19-year-old Jwon Thomas and 18-year-old Demontae Burse both of Hopkinsville on Wednesday in connection to a shooting from February 9.
According to a report from police, Burse was removing his property from a home on Denzil Drive. While Burse was moving out the home, he called some of his friends, with Thomas being one of them, and the occupant called some family to come to the residence as well.
As Burse was moving his belongings, a gunshot was reportedly fired toward him and Thomas returned fire, shooting the residence. Then from the parking lot, Burse reportedly shot several rounds at the residence.
Thomas and Burse were charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and Burse was additionally charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
