A two-vehicle collision on Princeton Road in Cerulean resulted in two people having to be transported to the hospital for possible injuries on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Phillip Calkins of Princeton was driving south on Princeton Road as Skylar Simmons of Cerulean was attempting to exit a driveway and turn south onto Princeton Road resulting in the pair colliding.
Simmons reportedly told law enforcement that he did not see any vehicles approaching as he turned, but once he was in the roadway, he saw Calkins’ vehicle approaching over a hill that obstructed both driver’s views and neither were able to avoid the collision.
Calkins and his passenger were both transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for further evaluation and care.
