With a chill in the air and misty, rainy weather in store for most of the week, it’s going to feel very much like fall time leading up to Halloween on Friday.
But don’t worry trick-or-treaters—Forecaster Rachel Trevino with the National Weather Service in Paducah says they’re expecting it to be mostly dry and seasonal on the big day itself.
Before Friday though, she says the region could pick up an additional two inches of rain, and while they’re not expecting any significant flooding problems, expect to see standing water in those usual low-lying and poor drainage areas.
The temperatures will be cool this week with highs lingers in the mid 50’s to low 60’s, before warming up some on Friday.
In the 8-to-14 day outlook, Trevino says the trends are showing that there could be cooler than average temperatures in store, with above average chances of precipitation, getting out November off to a seasonal start.
