A rear-end collision on East Ninth Street on Saturday sent a couple people to the hospital.
According to the report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, preliminary investigation has determined that a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Alexandria Doss of Hopkinsville collided with the back of a vehicle operated by 46-year-old Brent Thacker of Hopkinsville, while he attempting to turn right into the Huck’s gas station parking lot.
The force of the collision sent Thacker’s vehicle spinning into a third vehicle that was about to leave the parking lot.
Thacker and his passenger, Linda Thacker, were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Doss and the driver of the third vehicle were not injured.
Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
