The Trigg County Board of Education has announced that Rex Booth has been chosen to serve as the new Superintendent of Trigg County Public Schools.
According to a news release, Booth will begin his duties starting July 1 and has signed a contract for the next four years. Booth most recently served as the Principal of Russellville Middle/High School. During his three-year tenure at Russellville, and before that, he was the principal of Intermediate Elementary and Middle School in Edmonson County.
Prior to his administrative roles, Booth was a math teacher and coach, where he first demonstrated his commitment to educational excellence and student development.
His vision for Trigg County includes a focus on focus on enhancing academic performance, fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment, and engaging with the community to support student success.
