Christian County Public Schools is inviting the community to join them for a ribbon cutting for the new Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Learning Center.
According to a news release, it will take place on August 7 at 5 p.m. in a Christian County Chamber of Commerce After Hours event in celebration of remodeled building that once housed Indian Hills Elementary School. The Early Learning Center will offer a range of programs focused on early learning, kindergarten readiness and preschool for qualifying three- and four-year-olds in Christian County.
It will act a preschool hub for children who would have previously attended Martin Luther King Jr., Indian Hills, Millbrooke and Freedom Elementary Schools.
Principal Leigh Ann Stewart says, “Our vision to support the need for early learning is becoming a reality with the opening of this center. The center represents so much more than a preschool center, it is an investment in the future of our community and lays the foundation for a lifetime of growth and learning.”
The center also houses the Inspire Early Learning Academy, a fully licensed child care center for employees of Christian County Public Schools and its industry partners.
