Four people were injured, three of them critically, in a three-vehicle crash that happened at just around midnight in Christian County Saturday morning.
It happened on U.S. 68 near Gracey-Sinking Fork Road, according to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS, and one victim had to be extricated from her vehicle. There were a total of four victims, and three of them were considered to be in critical condition.
An 8-year-old was taken by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center Pediatris, a 37-year-old victim was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville and a 32-year-old victim was flown to Vanderbilt.
A 17-year-old patient was transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the collision.
