Sheriff’s deputies arrest Woodlawn man in connection to April pursuit

Deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year Donovan Ball of Woodlawn on Tuesday in connection to a pursuit from April 22.

On the date of the incident, a sheriff’s deputy noticed two vehicles backed into wooded area near Carter Road and Barkers Mill Road. As the deputy was approaching, both vehicles fled.

The pursuit led law enforcement into Clarksville where they were able to arrest 23-year-old Jordyn Purcell, who identified Ball as the second driver.

Following investigation, Ball was charged with speeding, reckless driving, first-degree fleeing or evading police, disregarding a stop sign, first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
