Two men were arrested by Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies following a traffic stop when they were reportedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine on August 17.
According to a report, 46-year-old Lawrence Mann and 41-year-old Jonathan Bivins were in a car traveling southbound on South Main Street and were pulled over for not having the car’s license plate properly illuminated.
A search of the vehicle reportedly unveiled a crystal-like substance that tested positive for methamphetamine in the center console. More methamphetamine was reportedly found in the car’s engine bay.
Both Mann and Bivins were charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and Mann was additionally charged with not having his rear license plate illuminated and instructional permit violations.
