Deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle wreck on Clark Store Sinking Fork Road that resulted in injuries on Wednesday.
According to a collision report, Karey Martinez of Crofton was driving a vehicle eastbound on Clark Store Sinking Fork Road near the 4300 block when she lowered her visor because the sun was causing a glare.
As Martinez was lowering the visor, she reportedly drove off of the right side of the roadway striking a ditch causing the vehicle to overturn and destroy two mailboxes. Martinez reportedly suffered lacerations to her body and was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for her injuries.
