A portion of KY 272 in Trigg County that was closed earlier this week due to a sinkhole is now back open after appropriate repairs were conducted.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the sinkhole developed at roughly the six-mile-marker near Glenwood Mill Road and was closed so officials could develop a repair plan.
That plan has since been enacted and the road has been repaired—so now it’s back open. Officials thanked citizens for their understanding and patience.
