Officers from the Hopkinsville Police Department responded to a single-vehicle wreck that resulted in possible injuries on Sunday night.
According to a report from police, Sydney Barnett of Nortonville was driving a vehicle east on Russellville Road when she reportedly attempted to change lanes. Barnett told officers that because of the slippery roadway she lost control of her vehicle.
Barnett’s vehicle went off of the right side of the roadway before it landed upright. According to the report the whole vehicle suffered severe damages and Barnett was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for leg pain.
