Submissions open for 2026 edition of HCC’s ‘Round Table Literary Journal’

By News Reporter Gabby Cedano

Writers, poets and artists, Hopkinsville Community College invites you to share your voice. “The Round Table,” HCC’s long-running literary journal, is now accepting submissions for its 2026 edition.

Submissions may include fiction, nonfiction, creative nonfiction, poetry and visual art, as long as the work is original and unpublished. Contributors whose work is selected will be featured in the published journal and invited to present at the Round Table Readings and Literary Awards Ceremony in April 2026.

Founded in 1966 by retired HCC instructor Frances G. Thomas and a group of honor students, “The Round Table” takes its name from the college’s distinctive Round Table Literary Park. The journal welcomes submissions from a large audience, including HCC students, faculty, staff, their family members, community members and K–12 students within HCC’s service region.

Submit your work via email to hp-roundtable@kctcs.edu and for questions, contact the editor, Caitlin Chester Riley, at cchester0007@kctcs.edu
