Three people were hurt in a collision involving a semi-truck on I-24 in Christian County early Thursday morning.
According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department report, a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Jennifer Wolfe of Missouri was heading eastbound near the 79-mile marker of I-24 when they hydroplaned on standing water from heavy rain.
They lost control of the vehicle, struck the bridge and came a stop in the left-lane. A semi driven by 36-year-old Peter Radoja of Georgia was unable to avoid a collision and struck the passenger car.
Wolfe and two passengers, a three-year-old and a four-year-old, were transported to Tennova Healthcare for treatment of injuries.
