Two Oak Grove police officers were recently award Lifesaver Awards following their actions during emergency situations that saved the lives of those involved.
Officers Jose Alba and Danielle Adams were presented with a Life Saving Award for their heroic actions and commitment to duty during two separate incidents—the one involving Officer Alba included intervening with a suicidal subject. The other incident with Officer Adams was a physical altercation involving a weapon.
The Life Saving Award is given to officers whose direct actions saves or extends the life of another person.
Officer Joseph Martin was also awarded a plaque honoring his dedication to the community of Oak Grove for the past five years, as he will be moving on to further his career in a different state.
