The Logan County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after a two-vehicle collision on Franklin Road near Russellville resulted in the death of two people Thursday morning.
According to the sheriff’s department, a truck driven by Dekamren Terry of Russellville was traveling east on the road while a car driven by Lee Bradshaw of Russellville was traveling west. As the drivers approached each other, they reportedly collided head-on in the westbound lane.
At the scene, Logan County Coroner Ben Kemplin pronounced Bradshaw and a passenger, Jose Garcia, deceased. Two juvenile passengers in Bradshaw’s car suffered injuries; one of them was transported to The Medical Center at Bowling Green, and the other was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
