Two-vehicle wreck in Princeton results in injuries

A two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 62 in Princeton resulted in injuries and one of the drivers being transported to a Nashville Hospital on Saturday.

According to a report from the Princeton Police Department, Kaitlyn Joiner of Princeton was attempting to turn left onto the highway from the Princeton Wine and Spirits parking lot when she was struck by a car operated by Carolyn Rustin of Princeton.

As a result of the collision, both vehicles went off the roadway and into a ditch in front of Treehouse Foods. Rustin was extricated from her vehicle by the Princeton Fire Department and flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for possible neck injuries.
