Vehicular homicide suspect Isaiah Edwards appeared in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon where his bond conditions were relaxed.
Edwards is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide while under the influence of drugs and one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a substance after he reportedly struck two bicyclists with his car on May 5, 2025 resulting in their deaths.
Edwards is currently out on bond while he awaits trial, and his defense attorney, Olivia Adams requested for his ankle monitor to be removed and for his mandatory drug testing to be reduced. Circuit Judge Andrew Self says Edwards has been compliant to his bond conditions so far, so he approved removing the ankle monitor and lowered his testing to once every other week.
Edwards will reappear in court for a pretrial conference on April 15.
