Earlier this month, Michelle Walden was selected to serve as the interim principal at Martin Luther King Jr. Early Learning Center, and on Wednesday, it was announced that the interim tag will be removed from her title.
Walden has officially been named the principal of the Early Learning Center, effective April 1. Walden has been a Christian County Public Schools employee since 2001, and before being selected to lead the Early Learning Center, she was the district’s Director of Elementary Education.
Superintendent Chris Bentzel says her leadership, experience and deep commitment to early childhood education make her an excellent choice to lead the Early Learning Center.
