The Christian County Welcome Center along I-24 westbound at mile marker 92 in Oak Grove will be temporarily closed to the public due to plumbing issues.
According to a news release, the Welcome Center was closed Tuesday afternoon and could remain closed for up to a week.
The rest area parking lots will remain open for both passenger cars and large vehicles, but the restroom facilities are currently closed. Portable toilets are scheduled for delivery on Wednesday, but in the meantime, motorists should plan their travel accordingly and use alternative rest stops during this period.
