Winners announced for Hopkinsville Holiday Decorating Contest

Just in time for Christmas, the Hopkinsville Beautification Commission has announced the winners of the annual Holiday Decorations Contest.

A residence from each city ward in Hopkinsville was selected as the ‘best decorated’ in a field of shining competition, and starting in Ward 1, the winners were Ray and Patricia Davis of Mohawk Trail.  In Ward 2, the win was claimed by Matt and Marty Sova of Hilltop Drive, the winners in Ward 3 were the King Family on North Drive and in Ward 4, Jerry and Sheryl Fox of Millbrooke Drive took the win.

Over in Ward 5, the winners of the contest were Phillip and Angela Cantrell on Acorn Way, while Ward 6 was won by Douglas and Kay Scott of Springmont Drive, Ward 7 was claimed by the Calvin Family of Crossbow Court and Ward 8 was won by Cindy Allen and her family of Sivley Road.

On to Ward 9, where Kiana Anderson on East 23rd Street took home the win—Ward 10 was won by Phillip and Caroline Cravens on East 20th Street, Ward 11 was won by Dylan Austin of Shadowood Trail and then in Ward 12, the winners of the contest were Jack and Ruth Elliot of South Main Street.

Only one business in Hopkinsville was chosen as the winner for the holiday decorating contest, and that honor this year went to Southern Exposure at 900 South Main Street.

You can find pictures of all the winners on the Hopkinsville Beautification Facebook page.
