A wreck on Skyline Drive last Friday sent a Hopkinsville man to the hospital after he was partially ejected from the vehicle.
It happened in the 1200 block of Skyline Drive, according to the report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, not long before 9 p.m. when the passenger tires of a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Cabrandy Grace of Hopkinsville struck a curb. That caused the vehicle to briefly go airborne, land on the grass nearby and then come to a stop on the windshield.
Grace was partially ejected when officers made contact, and he was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of multiple injuries.
Witnesses nearby reported that they heard a loud pop sound, as if something had gone wrong with the vehicle’s tires.
