The Pennyroyal Center and LifeSkills, Inc. are rebranding, following their merger, and officials feel the new name—CAYA Collaborative Care, Inc.–reflects the values they bring to their communities.
According to a news release, CAYA stands for “Come As You Are”, is designed to highlight their core belief that individuals seeking care of any kind should be welcomed, accepted and supported exactly as they are.
While the organization made up of the Pennyroyal Center and LifeSkills will now operate under the CAYA Collaborative Care name, officials say folks can depend on the legacy of both organizations living on. While the name is new, the mission, people and dedication to mental and physical health is not.
LifeSkills President and CEO Joe Dan Beavers says, “We have always believed that the moment someone reaches out for help is one of the most courageous moments of their life. Come As You Are is our promise that when that moment comes, we will be here. No prerequisites. No judgment. Regardless of their diagnosis, their circumstances, or their ability to pay.”
Over the coming months, signage, digital branding, printed material and outreach efforts will start to change, showing the new brand across the service region, for both the Pennyroyal Center and LifeSkills. For more information, visit the CAYA Collaborative Care website and cayacare.org.
CAYA Collaborative Care offers people in the community a place where you can seek whole-person care, including physical health, mental health, behavioral health and development services.
