Kentucky State Police are investigating the Golden Phoenix Spa in Oak Grove after they received a tip in April about possible prostitution crimes taking place at the business.
According to a report, KSP detectives executed a search warrant on June 19 at the spa and they found items associated with sexual activity.
During the search, two female employees were arrested and charged with prostitution and engaging in organized crime. One of the employees reportedly attempted to flee on foot and was additionally charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police.
Detectives also located a nude male who reportedly admitted to previously paying for a sexual act at the spa. The customer allegedly had items associated with sexual activity in his possession and was arrested.
