Man charged with wanton endangerment for shots fired incident

Hopkinsville police have charged a Hopkinsville man with wanton endangerment after he allegedly fired a gun towards individuals at the Hopkinsville Skate Park. 

According to the warrant, on January 21, 19-year-old Terell Howell of Hopkinsville is accused of discharged a handgun from his moving vehicle in the direction of four individuals at the Hopkinsville Skate Park, two of which were minors. He had reportedly been in a disturbance with those individuals.

Howell reportedly admitted to the shooting in an interview with police. He was arrested on strength of a warrant Friday for first-degree wanton endangerment and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
