A single-vehicle wreck near the 4-mile marker of the Pennyrile Parkway resulted in injuries on Monday.
The wreck occurred just before 12:45 p.m., and according to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers, the vehicle was heading northbound with two occupants when it starting hydroplaning as a result of the slick road conditions. The car reportedly flipped multiple times before coming to a stop.
One of the occupants was partially ejected from the vehicle, while the other had to be extricated by first responders. The pair were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
